REPLACING UNCERTAINTY WITH HOPE

During this time of physical distancing, it does not mean we have to socially disconnect from our family and friends. Because of advances in digital technology, we can remain connected in may ways without even being in the same room. A virtual book club is one way that parishes can foster connections with and among their parishioners and help them to grow closer to Christ and his Church.

The OSV New Hope Book Club is a collection of books that parishes can use to either start or refresh their book club and meet online when in-person gatherings are precluded. These books can be used to help parishioners deal with anxiety and adjust to a “new normal.” This type of book club also presents an opportunity for community, for diving deeper into our Faith, and for building up God’s Kingdom during this time of earthly uncertainty. The collection is subdivided into the following four categories: Parish Book Clubs, Women’s Groups, Men’s Groups, and Bible Studies.
