Julie Shewmaker
Vice President of Finance
Julie serves Our Sunday Visitor as VP of Finance. At OSV Julie is responsible for strategically directing the overall financial and accounting functions. These functions include a focus on portfolio management include cash forecasting and planning, preparation and analysis of financial reports for the corporation, administration of insurance property, life and health insurance plans, coordination of the annual budget process and leadership of the accounting department staff. Julie joined OSV in March of 2023.
Prior to joining OSV, Julie held leadership roles with Lumina Foundation, Christian Theological Seminary and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Her career began in public accounting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC and she is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to maintaining CPA status, Julie is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in accountancy. Julie also serves Diocese of Lafayette in Indiana as a member of the audit committee.
