On Memorial Day we commemorate the men and women of this country who have died in military service. The decoration of the graves of deceased soldiers, parades and ceremonies are traditional Memorial Day activities. A national moment of remembrance will take place at 3 p.m. (local time), and we encourage you to pause in prayer for those who have given their lives for our freedom.
Did you know that OSV Newsweekly is distributed free of charge to members of our military? Twenty-five percent of military personnel are Catholic. By donating, you can help provide a free subscription to a member of our military service. Help us continue this ministry here.
EWTN will air the Archdiocese for the Military Services Memorial Mass at noon on Monday, May 29, at 12 noon, ET.
Visit the Military Archdiocese website to find out more about its services and donate to further help our servicemen and women.
