This column addresses the deacon in ministries which transcend the parameters of the parish itself.
''How do we develop among ourselves as bishops, priests, deacons, seminarians and lay people a spirituality of giving which offers a biblical concept of stewardship?''
For the last several months, we have focused on specific issues raised by the National Directory for the Formation, Ministry and Life of Perma- nent Deacons in the United States(2005) with regard to the relationship of priests and deacons. Today's column offers some conclusions.
