Use the leaf patterns from Beth McNamara’s Big Book of Ideas for Children’s Faith Formation to create a Thanksgiving Leaf Wreath for family tables. Direct the children to write the names of family members and friends on the leaves in their wreaths. Direct them to pick a special leaf, like no other, and write “God” or “Jesus” on that leaf.
