Activity 1 November 2006

All Saints Super Cape – put to use all month, and beyond!

Use the All Saints Super Cape found in Beth McNamara’s Big Book of Ideas for Children’s Faith Formation to put small things on the minds of your students. Instruct each child to make a cape.

During the month of November, direct them to write on the cape all the little things they notice that they can be thankful for. Our vision for noticing the little things that God does for us is always in need of nurturing! Even big kids and adults need this reminder – so, encourage families to make their own capes and participate right along with their kids.

At the end of November, create a prayer service, or ask your pastor if kids can display their “capes of gratitude for small things” within the celebration of Mass.
