Use the pattern of the palm branch on p. 64 of Christian Beginnings, Volume 2, (click here for PDF) edited by Beth Branigan McNamara to list Bible stories, verses that your kids might read during the summer. Instruct them to color the palm leaf and select which readings they will commit to reading by writing each one on a separate leaf. For little ones, invite parents to read these verses to their children.
