Teacher Pattern March 2008

Use the pattern of the sunflower in Judy Dantzer’s Big Book of Family Gatherings, p. 90, to lead your students in a prayer-psalm of thanksgiving. Have students cut out the flower, decorate it, and write in or paste one of the following thank-you psalms (or have them write one of their own!):

“I will praise you, Lord!” (Psalm 30:1; CEV)
“I thank you from my heart!” (Psalm 30:12a; CEV)
“I will never stop singing your praises!” (Psalm 30:12b; CEV)
