O come, O come, Emmanuel,

And ransom captive Israel,

That mourns in lonely exile here,

Until the Son of God appear.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel

Shall come to thee, O Israel.

In what ways do you and your students truly need Jesus to come to you?

In what ways are you and your students “captive”? Is there too much gossip? Are certain students being isolated and left out time and time again? Is there a division in the church community due to pride or difficulties? Are certain community members held captive by sickness, poverty, addiction, willed blindness, loneliness? Alow God to speak to you and guide your hand and heart in His will.
