Jesus, it is so easy for me to become bound to things that are unimportant. I become fixated with goals that have no life and with projects that serve little purpose. I give myself to judgments that are base and pull me down. Allow your good news to lift me up. Teach me to set my sights higher. Show me how to turn from demands that sap my energy and detract from my love and give myself more fully to you. Amen.
