Challenge your kids to take turns writing as many titles of Bible stories they can think of on the black/white-board or paper.
Accept any title for any part of the Bible, whether story, parable, teaching, etc. For example – Good Shepherd, Beatitudes, Noah’s Ark, Creation of the World… (They may need some hints to realize how much they do know.)
Comment on how much they know.
Next, ask them to circle their favorites and explain why they are favorites.
Next, ask them if each of the stories is in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) or Christian Testament (New Testament).
For an even greater challenge, see who can locate their favorite stories in the Bible.
If you have time, encourage them to draw pictures of their favorites!
