Is your parish ready for stewardship?

A challenge for parish leadership…

Here is a checklist* for a parish considering embarking on the journey to active stewardship:

As parish leaders (pastor, associates, members of the pastoral and finance councils, other lay leaders)…

Do we (individually and collectively) really believe enough in God’s love to trust that He is by our side – when things go well and when they don’t – in successes and in failures?

Do we really believe that the parish community entrusted to our care and service consists of God’s people, whom He loves and cares for more than we can, even more than we can even imagine?
