Grace in Action: Living Catholic Stewardship

What is Grace In Action™?

Grace In Action

It's a bulletin insert, aimed at the entire parish, helping to inspire each and every parishioner toward a personal conversion of the heart, and a commitment to stewardship.

In each monthly issue, Grace in Action will encourage your parishioners to give their own time, talent, and treasure for the sake of others. It's lively, colorful, easy to read, and full of simple suggestions that help incorporate stewardship into everyday living.

Features found in Grace In Action include:

  • Online-only information, found under the "Issue Extras." Here you'll find the links and extra stories mentioned in each issue.
  • Stewardship Alphabet.  Stewardship from A to Z!
  • New Parables – An "everyday life" story that contains a stewardship lesson or moral.
  • Defining Moments — "Catholic words" from OSV's Catholic Dictionary. (Please log in to view).
  • The Way We Pray — Bringing prayer into your life.
  • Celebrate – Important events for the month
  • Faith Fact – Catholic faith information, that is "good news to use."
  • Cornerstone – Quote from a saint or from Scripture with a stewardship message
  • Modern Disciples – Ordinary people during extraordinary things for God. Nominations accepted – click here to nominate an extraordinary steward.
  • Sowing Seeds – Passage from the bishop's pastoral letter and a reflection with questions
  • Try This – A concrete, simple task that parishioners can do to give of their time, talent, or treasure. Updated monthly online also!
  • Online-only Leader's Guide, updated monthly with advance copies GIA and discussion questions, additional information, and more.

Each issue will contain these departments and the content will be sensitive to ethnicity, age, gender, and other issues, and will deal with all three areas: time, talent, treasure.
