Wisdom: As one of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, with knowledge, perfects the use of judgment; knowledge perfects the judgment of practical reason, while wisdom perfects the judgment of speculative reason. In the Bible, wisdom is the name for the personification of God's wise dealings and plan for the world adn the human race, manifest in both creation and redemption.
Witness: 1. One who gives testimony concerning something of which one was direct knowledge or acquaintance. 2. In the Christian sense, witness refers to the Apostles, martyrs, and the first disciples of Christ who bore witness to His resurrection. More widely, it describes every Christian who is called to bear witness, by word and deed, to the hope that comes from Our Lord Jesus Christ.
