Adults

Who has especially inspired you with the way they have used their unique gifts to enhance their particular vocation or the sacrifices they have made in its service?

How does the work you do make use of your God-given talents?  How do your talents and skills shape the choices you make in the use of your leisure time?

It’s Lent – a perfect time for good stewards to ponder again Archbishop Murphy’s haunting questions: “What do I own?” and “What owns me?”

Teens

This month’s “modern disciples” have given their whole lives to the Church – and now they are offering their musical talents in a special way, too.  To what do you think you want to give your life?  What special talents do you have to offer?

The Priests’ recording contract states that their priestly duties must always take priority.  What’s number one with you?  What is the most important thing in your life – the one thing that you always put first and for which you would be willing to sacrifice other good things or opportunities?

It’s mid-Lent…  Not too late to find a way to pray, fast, and/or give to the poor before Lent’s 40 days are over!  What are you doing to prepare your heart for Easter?

What do you want to be when you grow up?  Why did you choose that?  What skills or talents do you already have that would make you good at that job?

Lent is a special season when we take time to remember how much God loves us and look for ways to say to God, “I love you back!”  How have you said “I love you” to God this week?

This month’s newsletter has a famous Irish blessing that offers peace» – the peace of running waves, of flowing air, of the quiet earth and shining stars and the gentle night.  Which of those seems most peaceful to you?  Where is your favorite peaceful place?  What makes it feel peaceful?
