How does a good steward handle major transitions – graduation, a family wedding, a cross-country move? In what ways can these events be “received gratefully, cultivated responsibly, shared lovingly, and returned with increase to the Lord”?
Is summer time a “fallow” time for you or a time to learn new things and explore new directions? Both are good stewardship!
What do you have that you’re “saving” for a special occasion? Why are you saving it?
How will you be a good steward of the slower-paced, relatively deadline-free days of summer?
Who are the important men – the father figures – in your life? Take time this month to thank one or more of them!
When school is out, how will you keep learning and growing this summer? Will you take swimming lessons, participate in a reading program at the library, go to camp and learn new skills?
Do you have any special “treasures” you are “saving for a rainy day”? What are they? What makes them so special? When did you last get them out and enjoy them?
