Adults

The teachers featured in this month’s newsletter give generously of themselves in many ways because they feel called to what they do. Do you feel called to the work you do? Why or why not?

What causes inspire you to give generously of your time and money? What makes them so important to you?

Compare your life and circumstances today with this time last year. What has changed? What would you like to see changed in your life by this time next year? What concrete steps will you take to make that happen?

Teens

The teachers at Assumption School are passionate about the work they do. What inspires that kind of passion in you?

Is there a particular teacher who has made a real difference in your life? Who was it? What is different for you because of that person?

What do you hope to do after you finish high school? How have what you value, what you’re good at, and the people you respect helped to shape those dreams?

Children

Who is your favorite teacher? Why is he or she your favorite?

What would you like to be when you grow up? Why?

For right now, your job is doing the best you can every day in school. What one thing could you do, beginning right now at the start of this new year, to do your job better? Why not make that your New Year’s resolution!
