Adults

The doctor in this month’s parable was so good and conscientious in so many ways.  Why do you suppose she neglected her own mental and physical health?

How would you rate your stewardship of your body and your health?  What could you do to be a better steward of these precious gifts of God?

Who do you know who could use a word of encouragement from you?  What keeps you from offering it?

Teens

The doctor in this story used her time and talents for others but forgot to make time for herself.  Why is that important?  What’s the difference between taking care of yourself and being selfish?

On a scale of 1-10, how fit are you?  How fit would you like to be?  What’s stopping you from achieving that goal?

Lent is as early as it can possibly be this year, starting on Wednesday, February 6th.  Make one serious New Year’s resolution that will benefit you in mind or body and try to keep it at least until the beginning of Lent.  It’s only a few days more than a month!

Children

Name one thing you can do to help keep your body healthy and strong.

What is your favorite outdoor game?  What do you do for exercise when the winter weather keeps you indoors?

Did you make a New Year’s resolution this year?  What was it?  Will it be hard or easy for you to keep?  Why?
