A CHILDREN'S "YEAR OF THE EUCHARIST" Contest & Celebration For Catholic Schools: DIOCESE ~ SCHOOLS ~ PARISHES School children submit a "Prayer of Petition" (entry deadline May 1, 2005).

Friendly Defenders cards feature 50 full-color cards as well as attractive cartoon characters who teach kids "from ages 8 to 108" how to answer questions about the Catholic faith. An interactive website features games and contests, including a national Catholic essay contest in which Catholic boys and girls can win one of two $500 education scholarships.
