Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) opened in the summer of 1997 as the only full-time pro-life and pro-family office at UN headquarters in New York City. In that capacity, C-FAM takes the pro-life and pro-family message to the UN bureacrats and UN diplomats. C-FAM has lobbied at all important UN conferences in recent years and is at the center of an international coalition of governments and of other pro-family non-government organizations.

The Catholic Health Association of the United States represents the combined strength of its members, more than 2,000 Catholic healthcare sponsors, systems, facilities, and related organizations. Founded in 1915, CHA unites members to advance selected strategic issues that are best addressed together rather than as individual organizations. It strengthens the Church’s healing ministry in the United States by advocating for a just healthcare system, convening leaders to share ideas and foster collaboration, and uniting the ministry voice on critical issues.
 
 
The Catholic League is the nation’s largest Catholic civil rights organization. Founded in 1973 by the late Father Virgil C. Blum, S.J., the Catholic League defends the right of Catholics – lay and clergy alike – to participate in American public life without defamation or discrimination. Motivated by the letter and the spirit of the First Amendment, the Catholic League works to safeguard both the religious freedom rights and the free speech rights of Catholics whenever and wherever they are threatened.
 
 
Pax Christi USA strives to create a world that reflects the Peace of Christ by exploring, articulating, and witnessing to the call of Christian nonviolence. This work begins in personal life and extends to communities of reflection and action to transform structures of society. Pax Christi USA rejects war, preparations for war, and every form of violence and domination. The Catholic Worker Movement, founded by Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin in 1933, is grounded in a firm belief in the God-given dignity of every human person. Today over 140 Catholic Worker communities remain committed to nonviolence, voluntary poverty, prayer, and hospitality for the homeless, exiled, hungry, and foresaken. Catholic Workers continue to protest injustice, war, racism, and violence of all forms.

Casa Juan Diego was founded in 1980, following the Catholic Worker model of Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin, to serve immigrants and refugees. >From one small house it has grown to fifteen houses. National Federation of Priests' Councils

The National Federation of Priests' Councils (NFPC) is a membership organization representing one hundred sixteen councils of diocesan and religious clergy, totaling appx. twenty-six thousand Roman Catholic priests. The National Board of the NFPC includes representatives from 30 ecclesiastical provinces of the United States, the Conference of the Major Superiors of Men and the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus. The House of Delegates of the NFPC is a policy-setting body comprised of representatives of the member councils. The Delegates meet annually.
