Enthronement of the Sacred Heart
A ceremony in which an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is enshrined in the home. Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey initiated this practice, often employing hymns and prayers, which was approved by Pope St. Pius X in 1907 and introduced in the United States in 1913.
