Christ is Born!
We have evidence of people creating religious art, adorning their bodies with clothes, and burying their dead that goes back at least 50,000 years. All this suggests that for a long time human beings have been waiting for and seeking the Unknown God Paul talks about in Acts 17:23.
Today, that wait is over. God has, in the fullness of time, sent His Son so that the whole human race — struggling with sin, darkness and death since the Fall — might finally see the light of day. Thanks be to God for the Light born in Bethlehem!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to dwell in flesh among us!
